Wellington reaches top 10 in China’s international rankings

On 30th November, Hurun Education released its Top International Schools in China 2017 report, which ranks the best 100 international schools in China. This is the first time such a list has been created, and despite its relatively recent foundation, Wellington College International Shanghai has already established itself as one of the best schools in the country. According to the ratings, Wellington is the top British-curriculum international school in Shanghai. Overall the College was ranked as the 5th best international school in Shanghai and 8th best nationwide. Hurun’s results were drawn from the nominations and index rankings of 110 international education experts, leading to the establishment of the Top 100 schools list from the 152 schools across 23 mainland China cities that received nominations from the experts. Given the short history of Wellington College International Shanghai, we are hugely proud and pleased to have received such a high ranking in so short a space of time. This accolade represents the drive, determination and talent of all staff, pupils and parents who are all working together with the aim of making Wellington the best international school in China.
